Man Hands Over Diamond Ring In Starbucks

A man enlisted the help of his local coffee shop when proposing to his girlfriend, according to reports.

Lenny Tawil decided to hand his partner an engagement band through the drive-through window of a nearby Starbucks, states the New York Daily News.

Mr Tawil realised his girlfriend visited the coffee house every day and recently presented her with a jewellery box rather than the iced macchiato she had ordered, it may interest owners of gold diamond rings to learn.

The 32-year-old lingerie designer had previously been given the ok to pull the stunt by store manager Liz Fagundo, who described the decision to allow the romantic gesture as a "no brainer".

Bride-to-be Cynthia Harari described her new ring to the news provider as "stunning and gorgeous".

She added: "I didn't know it was going to be in Starbucks. I was in shock."
