Brides-to-be with concerns over the environment are being offered a new sustainable wedding package.
The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is offering a scheme for couples which includes several eco-friend options, it may interest owners of gold diamond rings to learn.
Among those on offer are an environmentally-aware planner, carbon credit to offset the event's footprint, a choice of daytime locations in order to save on electricity costs and a selection of locally grown flowers.
Jennifer Gillis, wedding planner for the firm, commented the $10,050 (£6,700) deal has generated interest over the last month.
She added: "More and more couples are seeking custom, eco-conscious weddings."
In other news which may interest owners of engagement bands such as platinum diamond rings, research by Sainsbury's Travel Insurance revealed many newlyweds are choosing short breaks after their big day, rather than a lavish honeymoon.
The study claimed cash-strapped couples are instead saving for a trip to their dream destination after their wedding.
