A US worker handed in a 4.6-carat diamond ring she found on the floor of a supermarket, it has emerged.
In news which may interest those with platinum diamond rings, Mary Klemm found the piece of jewellery in the BJ's Wholesale in Boynton Beach where she works, according to PalmBeachPost.com.
The ring was then returned to owner Lorraine Wurtzel, who said: "It has renewed my faith in humanity."
Ms Klemm revealed she found the ring in the store's meat aisle and handed it over to the main office, unaware that Ms Wurtzel had visited several shops searching for it and had given up hope of seeing the item again.
According to the news provider, Ms Klemm commented: "All I cared about is that she got her ring back. I just hope that she gets it sized so she doesn't lose it."
