Stolen Diamond Ring Returned

A gold diamond ring stolen from the body of an American woman has been returned, it is claimed.

In news which may interest owners of gold diamond rings, the engagement band, along with a wedding ring, was taken from 89-year-old Evelyn DeFlavis' hand after she had died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Centre.

After the incident, Ms DeFlavis' family appealed for the items to be returned and now almost a month later they have reappeared, it may relieve owners of platinum diamond rings to learn.

The theft received widespread media and police attention - factors which the family believes have led to the culprit returning the rings.

Doonan DeFlavis, Ms DeFlavis' eldest daughter, told the Boston Globe she is "overjoyed" that the items have been handed in.

Recently, a diamond ring was found in a sewer after a young lady had dropped the expensive item the night before, reported 680 News.
