Heather Locklear has sparked rumours she is engaged after being seen wearing a diamond ring, it has emerged.

In news which may interest owners of gold diamond rings, the actress was wearing the engagement band while she was arrested for a driving offence on September 27th, reports Ace Showbiz.

The source claims the 47-year-old star was detained in Santa Barbara after being spotted "driving erratically".

Pictures released of the incident show MS Locklear wearing the diamond ring, which is reportedly an engagement gift given to her by boyfriend Jack Wagner, the website adds.

Ms Locklear was released from jail later the same day after posting $5,000 (£2,830) bail, the source concludes.
