Free Diamond Ring Offered

A wedding website is offering users the chance to win a diamond engagement ring, according to a source.

In news which may interest owners of gold diamond rings, BharatMatrimony.com is running a competition to find a winner for the $12,000 (£6,850) band, reports Indiapost.com.

The giveaway, which opens today with entries being accepted until December 20th, is part of the firm's Discover Love promotion, Gopala Krishnan chief marketing officer for the website's holding company tells the news provider.

He adds: "It's our way of rewarding back our customers."

Mr Krishnan goes on to say the need for "innovation" in the marketplace is also a factor behind the sweepstake and marks the milestone of 12-million users registering for the online firm's services.

Last month, Bremer Jewelry gave away gold diamond rings as part of a promotion in which customers would receive items for free if there was rain on their wedding day, reported the Samara James blog.
