An appeal has been launched for a missing engagement ring, according to a source.
In news which may interest owners of gold diamond rings, Linda Boyde lost the band while out with work colleagues last week, reports the Isle of Man Today.
The bride-to-be told the news provider she is "gutted" that the item is missing.
She stated: "It's of great sentimental value. It's not the ring, it's what it symbolises."
The 38-year-old, who is due to marry later this week, added finding the engagement band would be "the best wedding present".
She went on to tell the publication she became "a sobbing wreck" when she realised the item was missing.
Ms Boyde believes the ring was lost on Friday [October 24th], the news source adds.
Earlier this month, appeals were launched to find several gold and platinum diamond rings, including an engagement band which was dropped into a sewer by a couple leaving an ice cream parlour, reported 680 News.
