Diamonds Sparkle On Red Carpet

Diamond jewellery sparkled on the red carpet at a recent celebrity event, according to a source.

The primary fashion statement of Elle's 15th annual Women in Hollywood Tribute was an abundance of diamond drop earrings, reports Jewelry Insider.

Stars such as Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda all appeared in exuberant diamond earrings, while the likes of Nicole Kidman and Katherine McPhee opted for smaller-scale diamonds.

Another A-lister at the ceremony was Sigourney Weaver, who commented she hopes "someday hopefully it won't be necessary to allocate a special evening to celebrate where we [women] are and how far we've come", the news source reports.

Other celebrities attending the event included Kate Beckinsale, Courtney Cox-Arquette and Amber Tamblyn.

Last month, jewellery such as diamond bracelets, diamond necklaces and gold diamond rings were on show at the MTV Video Music Awards and the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, Market Watch reported.
