Diamond-encrusted Bra Revealed

A leading fashion firm has revealed new diamond-encrusted underwear.

Victoria's Secret has unveiled a £3 million bra which is covered in black gems.

There are thousands of dark stones and 117 one-carat round diamonds, which are usually found in items such as diamond necklaces, within the garment.

Supermodel Adriana Lima models the item in a new advertising campaign for the Black Diamond Fantasy Bra.

The underwear was created by designer Martin Katz and is said to feature 3,575 gothic looking gems, as well as 34 rubies, which combine to create a black, red and white look.

As well as these stones, two larger 50-carat dark diamonds hang from the centre of the item.

Earlier this month, Brides magazine claimed black diamonds are "where it's at", reported Modern Jeweler.

The magazine stated wives-to-be may be inspired by Carmen Electra's gothic engagement ring by favouring darker gem stones in their gold or platinum diamond rings.
