Diamond Headwear Seen On Red Carpet

Diamond-encrusted headwear and hair accessories are the latest celebrity must have, according to a source.

Stars are turning up on the red carpet with "bejewelled hair pieces", reports the Jewelry Insider blog.

The news provider claims Sarah Jessica Parker's use of diamonds, which are more traditionally found in items such as gold diamond rings and diamond bracelets, as a hair accessory in the Sex and the City movie may have sparked a craze.

In recent weeks Nicole Richie appeared at Fashion Week in a gem-covered headband, Pink was spotted with diamonds weaved into her hair and Paris Hilton wore stone-encrusted headwear.

Meanwhile, January Jones was spotted with an "elegant diamond strand" running through her locks at the recent Emmy Awards, the news source adds.

In other celebrity jewellery news, Bruce Willis was recently seen shopping for platinum diamond rings, sparking rumours he is set to marry girlfriend Emma Heming.

The Die Hard and Sin City star was spotted browsing jewellery stores in Beverley Hills, according to reports.
