Stars Choose Diamonds For Red Carpet

Glittering jewellery lit up the red carpet this week as several stars wore diamond items.

Debra Messing, star of sitcom Will and Grace, made an appearance at the premiere of her new film The Women wearing diamond earrings, according to reports.

Ms Messing's movie co-stars also turned out in sparkling pieces.

Jada Pinkett-Smith wore diamond drop earrings and gold bangles, while Debi Mazar appeared in several bracelets and platinum earrings.

Meanwhile, Anna Paquin, star of X-Men 2 and Darkness, also recently wore diamond jewellery to a premiere.

The actress appeared in black diamond bracelets during the Los Angeles first showing of her new TV series True Blood.

Earlier this month a host of world famous faces chose diamonds to complement their outfits at the MTV video music awards, which were held on September 7th.

Songstress Pink shone at the ceremony in a selection of diamond bracelets, earrings and rings worth around $500,000 (£283,304).
