A diamond jewellery auction has been postponed due to high levels of interest, it has today been reported.
The New York sale, which will feature items such as gold diamond rings and diamond pendants once owned by world-famous rap stars, has been moved in order to allow auctioneers to include more lots, according to the Guardian.
Among the pieces on offer will be a diamond ring commissioned by Tupac Shakur, which is expected to sell for around $10,000 (£5,300).
Diamond items owned by LL Cool J, Lil Jon, Kanye West and Missy Elliot will also be sold to help generate funds for charity.
The lots will raise money for Russell Simmons' Rush Community Affairs charity.
Meanwhile, in other diamond news, glittering jewellery was on show at the 60th Annual Emmy Awards, according to Market Watch.
Stars including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Glenn Close and Heidi Klum appeared at the awards in items such as diamond bracelets, the source adds.
