Jewellery such as coloured diamond necklaces and earrings are becoming increasingly popular, it has today been claimed.
Items of blue, black, brown and yellow diamond jewellery are being seen on more and more celebrities, according to MSN.co.uk.
Rare blue diamonds are "well suited" in either a yellow or white gold setting, the website states.
Black gems are "quickly gaining popularity" among collectors and celebrities, with Carmen Electra recently seen with a new black diamond ring.
Yellow diamonds are "becoming more popular each year", while chocolate coloured stones are "a new classic", the website continues.
Celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz have been seen wearing coloured jewellery in recent months, the source adds.
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham recently wore diamond stud earrings while in Manchester, according to the Daily Mail.
The former Spice Girl wore the jewellery while promoting the new Signature for Her perfume range at Harvey Nichols, the newspaper adds.
