Beyonce Knowles has been seen wearing a diamond wedding ring, it has been reported.

The pop superstar, who married rapper Jay-Z earlier this year, made her first public appearance wearing the 18-carat diamond ring at the Fashion Rocks event, which was held in New York at the weekend.

In news which may interest owners of platinum or gold diamond rings, Lorraine Schwartz, designer of the item, claims the wedding band is worth $5 million (£2.8 million).

Meanwhile, in further news regarding gold and platinum diamond rings , Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle Lloyd has been seen wearing an engagement ring, according to Now magazine.

The publication states the pop star and glamour model has received a diamond band from boyfriend DJ Ironik.

Ms Lloyd admitted to the Daily Star Sunday the couple are playing down their engagement in order to avoid upsetting her future husband's female fans, the source adds.
