£200k Diamond Ring Not Taken In Theft

Kate Moss is said to be relieved as thieves failed to take her £200,000 diamond ring.

In news which may interest owners of platinum diamond rings, the supermodel was apparently "absolutely distraught" after seeing her Range Rover had been broken into earlier this week, reports the Daily Mirror.

However, she was relieved to find the thieves had only taken £10 and a box of chocolates.

A close friend told the newspaper: "She wasn't sure what she'd left on the backseat and initially feared they'd got away with a £200,000 diamond solitaire ring. Then she had a closer look and was thrilled to find just how little was missing."

The theft occurred outside the star's £7 million north London home.

It had been rumoured the pair were set to marry after Ms Ronson made a series of comments indicating marriage during recent public appearances.
