Umbrella Singer Steps Out In Diamond Stud Earrings

Rihanna - the singer from Barbados whose hits include Umbrella - chose to wear diamond stud earrings on a recent trip back to her home country.

The star arrived on the island with Chris Brown, wearing blue skinny jeans, a gold belt, a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and diamond stud earrings, reports Sawf News.

It was Rihanna's second appearance in diamonds in as many weeks, with reports noting her recent appearance in a princess cut diamond ring.

In Barbados, the star combined her diamond stud earrings with a large hobo bag, a white watch, three silver bracelets on her right arm, a gold charm bracelet on her left arm and a gold cheetah pendant, the news source stated.

The report adds that Rihanna is set to perform at the fourth annual Fashion Rocks benefit at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on September 5th, while she is also a nominee for Best Female Video at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.
