Holmes Dons Diamonds For Premiere

The premiere of new Ben Stiller film Tropic Thunder had a special guest in the form of Katie Holmes, who wore diamond jewellery for the occasion.

According to the Jewellery Insider blog, Holmes - whose husband Tom Cruise has a cameo in the movie - wore diamond triangle earrings and multiple diamond rings, which she combined with a halterneck dress and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Describing the former Dawson's Creek actress's outfit as 'tasteful', the blog added that she was not the only style icon at the premiere.

Christine Taylor reportedly impressed in statement drop earrings and a black sleeveless dress, while Amy Adams paired a gold cocktail dress with gold flower earrings.

Holmes' engagement ring - first spotted as she left the Eiffel Tower having accepted Cruise's Paris proposal - was a platinum diamond ring, featuring a five-carat oval shaped diamond, notes LoveToKnow.

The couple married in Italy in November 2006.
