Hollywood Starlets Dazzle In Diamonds

The diamonds were out in force in West Hollywood last weekend as some of Tinseltown's finest headed out to celebrate the opening of a trendy new bar in the vicinity.

Paris Hilton wore a diamond choker and bangle combination to the opening of Apple Lounge, while her heiress sister Nicky wore tasteful diamond stud earrings.

Meanwhile, singer Christina Milian showed off a pair of diamond hoops and Dancing with the Stars contestant Carina Smirnoff sported a diamond ring and diamond drop earrings.

"Diamonds and cocktails are quite possibly the perfect combination," observed Jewellery Insider.

DNA Money on Sify reported recently that diamonds are the perfect choice for jewellery because they suit everyone and do not discriminate between genders.

The report made this point while acknowledging that many customers are now choosing diamond jewellery as a modern alternative to gold.

Meanwhile, The Deccan Herald noted that chandelier ear adornments are hot property at the moment, being spotted on stars such as Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Jennifer Lopez.
