Diamond Ring Seals Love Of Celebrity Couple

Celebrity couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi exchanged a pair of one-of-a-kind rings during their intimate wedding ceremony in Los Angeles at the weekend.

The rings were crafted by Neil Lane, who was also the designer for Ms de Rossi's three-carat marquise cut diamond engagement ring. Her engagement ring, set on a pink pave band, was first spotted on the actress' left hand on the red carpet at the Daytime Emmy Awards in June.

Both women wore clothes designed by Zac Posen to exchange their handwritten vows.

Reports from US magazine People claim that 19 people were in attendance at the wedding, including Ms DeGeneres' mother Betty and Ms de Rossi's mother Margaret Rogers, who flew in from Australia for the ceremony.

Portia de Rossi was born Amanda Lee Rogers in Melbourne, Australia and has appeared in Ally McBeal and Arrested Development. Ellen De Generes, a comedian, currently hosts a talk show in the US.
