A bride-to-be recently lost the diamond from her engagement ring on a golf course - and found it again, it has been reported.
Crystal Jardine lost the gem during a busy day at the golf course, where she works as a bartender, reports the Times & Transcript.
That weekend marked the first day of the one-year countdown to Ms Jardine's marriage to Mathieu Roy and the couple feared they would not reclaim the stone.
"But if diamonds are a girl's best friend, a woman named Lynn Gammon-Young might come a close second," the news source suggested.
Ms Gammon-Young found the diamond being played with by some people at a table and, after hearing that Ms Jardine had misplaced her gemstone, returned it to its rightful owner.
In related news that may interest people keeping hold of their pear shape diamond rings, the Daily Mail recently reported that a man using a metal detector in a farmer's field recently discovered a rare diamond ring.
