A Diamond Engagement Ring For Amy Adams

Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams plans to marry her partner next year, after Darren Legallo proposed to the star with a diamond ring.

The actress, who was up for the best supporting actress Academy Award for her told in 2005 film Junebug, has been with Legallo for six years, reports USA Today.

Adams told the publication in March: "It's really important to have someone to remind you who you are."

"I'll run all over but come back to him and I know who I am."

Pear shape diamond rings, heart shape diamond rings and gold diamond rings are popular engagement bands, with a number of stars choosing diamonds to express their commitment in recent weeks.

Flavio Briatore's new wife, Elisabetta Gregoraci, wore a gold diamond ring to the couple's recent wedding, while tennis star Chris Evert recently donned her asscher cut diamond ring to the US Open golf tournament, at which her new husband Greg Norman was competing.
