Hoola Hoop Inspires New Jewellery Range

Jewellery designer Stefan Hafner has created a new range of jewellery that draws on the simplicity of white gold and diamonds, called his Gypsy collection.

His aim was to capture the spirit and vivacity of the gypsy lifestyle through his range of diamond pendants, necklaces, earrings and diamond rings.

He used the hoola hoop as a starting point and drew on its fluidic motion to create a collection that uses spiralling swirls and dancing movement to draw in and captivate the attention.

Mr Tawhid Abdullah, managing director of Damas Jewellery, said: "Stefan Hafner's style is immediately recognisable for its distinct artistry which immediately captivates your attention.

"In the Gypsy collection it recreates the swirls of the hoola hoop in bewitching essence," he added.

In related news, Mumbai-based Flawless Diamond has received two orders for its jewellery from companies in Hong Kong. It hopes to complete the orders within 90 days and is looking forward to repeat business.
