Gold Diamond Ring For Coleen

Coleen Rooney arrived back in the UK with her new husband, each sporting their new gold wedding bands.

The gold diamond rings were designed by the bride herself and each is inscribed with the initials of the couple.

It is thought that Coleen's ring alone could be worth around £250,000, according to Eilein Kelly, of Abiba jewellers in London's Hatton Garden.

Ms Kelly told the News of the World: "It's beautiful and obviously a bespoke piece … I would say, because it is so unusual, that she has has chosen the design and had them specially made.

In addition to the high quality gold setting, each ring is diamond encrusted with a large marquise cut one adorning the brides.

Magazine OK!, which won the battle to cover the couple's nuptials were reported to have paid a record £3.2 million for the rights, the majority of which is though to have gone to charity.
