Discover Jewellery In London This Week

Diamond bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings could be among the jewellery items laid out at the Discover Jewellery Show this week.

Being held at Stratford Town Hall as part of London Jewellery Week, the event is intended to showcase the work of boutiques on Green Street in east London, reports Easier.

"If you're looking for one-off, designer jewellery of the very highest quality, then Green Street offers a fabulous, competitively-priced alternative to Hatton Garden or Bond Street," comments Jayant Raniga of Green Street Jewellers' Association.

The Discover Jewellery Show is one of a variety of events being held through the inaugural London Jewellery Week, which began on June 11th and runs until June 15th.

According to the report, many boutiques on Green Street are family business from South Asia that have been running for two or three generations.

The event displays the area's contemporary jewellery through an illustrated exhibition, workshops and demonstrations.
