Rihanna 'receives Diamond Necklace'

Pop star Rihanna has reportedly been given a $100,000 (£50,600) diamond necklace by rumoured boyfriend Chris Brown.

My Park Magazine reports the singer was "thrilled" to get the piece, a ruby and diamond necklace from designer Jason Arasheben of Beverly Hills jewellers.

The publication adds she was so pleased with the gift she is to return the favour, ordering a diamond-encrusted cross from the same store.

Quoted by the magazine, designer Jason Arasheben said: "Chris went for the heart theme. He said, 'She's going to love this because she loves hearts.'"

Links between the pair appeared after Brown attended the Umbrella singer's 20th birthday.

Rihanna is currently on tour in the US, and will shortly appear in Vancouver before heading off to Rio and Los Angeles.

Her 'Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded' CD is due to hit the shelves on June 17th, featuring three new songs and a DVD including live tour performance footage.
