Published on 20/05/08

A new jewellery range from Damas has been launched, offering pendants, earrings and rings for the sophisticated and stylish woman.

Diamond pendants, diamond drop earrings and white gold diamond rings are among the pieces launched recently by Italian jewellery brand Io Si, recently featured in the Basel Fair 2008.

Coloured combinations of diamonds, pink, yellow and orange sapphires and amethysts decorate the accessories from the brand, which is part of the DIT Group, a quartet also comprising Stefan Hafner, Roberta Porrati and La Nouvelle.

"Io Si's jewels exude a strong, sculptured artistry that's both eye-catching and exotic," said Tawfiq Abdullah, chairman of Damas.

He added that the company's ring collection is renowned for its reflected equilibrium, while the brand exemplifies Italy's artistic and glamorous creations.

Brands housed by the UAE-based Damas include Tiffany, Gucci, Perreley and Montega. The company was founded in 1907 in the United Arab Emirates and its network spans Europe and beyond.
