Jolie Does Cannes In Diamond Drop Earrings

Angelina Jolie walked down the red carpet at the premiere of her latest film in a pair of rose cut diamond drop earrings this week.

The actress paired the diamond drop earrings with a rose cut diamond bracelet and a grey gown at the Cannes showing of Clint Eastwood's Changeling, in which she stars.

Crafted by BOHIC, the jewellery is "inspired by exotic cultures and infused by modern luxury", according to the designer.

Bold Bakelite cuffs and earrings and oversized rings are said to be a hallmark of the collection, which has been worn by celebrities including Hilary Swank and Rihanna.

The Orient and Mediterranean are key inspirations for the range, which looks to bring historical traditions to life in the form of jewellery.

In related news, diamond drop earrings are among the jewellery pieces in a new range from Italian brand Io Si, which was launched by Damas this week.
