People looking for a low-key way to accessorise their ears have been advised to consider diamond stud earrings.

According to Indiatimes, diamond stud earrings can be worn in a variety of ways, with floral patterns, bright colours and gemstone clusters all popular approaches to the style.

Mira Gulati, founder and head designer at Mirari Jewels, told the publication that a well-chosen diamond ear stud may need little embellishment.

"Ear studs are an ideal accessory for the day as they are subtle, the most popular ones being a pair of diamond clusters. I feel a subtle accessory can be a standalone piece when designed with a difference," she said.
