Diamond Necklace, Earrings For Bride Ashlee

A diamond necklace and earrings sparkled along with Ashlee Simpson when she got married to Pete Wentz this weekend.

SFGate.com reports that the singer teamed an ivory lace gown by Monique Lhuillier with a Neil Lane diamond necklace and earrings when she wed her rocker beau on Saturday night.

Held at Simpson's parents' house in California, 150 guests reportedly attended the event, including Nicole Richie and Joel Madden and the bride's sister, singer and actress Jessica.

"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," the couple's representative commented.

According to the Telegraph, brides-to-be are often more concerned with the quality of a diamond ring than the size of the rock.

Ruth Donaldson, the UK manager of Platinum Guild International, told the newspaper that women want a "better class of diamond" secured in the best precious metals from the husband-to-be.
