Diamond Ring For New Mother Lopez

Celebrity Jennifer Lopez has been given a $300,000 (£150,000) diamond ring by husband Marc Anthony to commemorate the birth of their twins.

In a quintessential example of the singer and actress's celebrity style, she was presented with an eight-carat yellow canary diamond ring recently to mark their birth of Max and Emme in February.

"Jennifer wasn't expecting such a generous gift, but Marc wanted to give her something to remember the day by," said a source close to the singer.

The twins were reportedly baptised on Saturday (April 12th) in an intimate ceremony at a Long Island church.

A reception followed at the couple's home in Brookville, attended by their close friends and relatives.

Lopez has described the couple's parenthood as their most important accomplishment, according to reports.

As well as her singing, dancing and acting careers, Lopez's professional ventures include a clothing line, a perfume brand and a film and TV production company.
