Published : 26/10/09 It's that time of year for Victoria's Secret customers and fans: the lingerie store has revealed its annual diamond-encrusted bra, the 2009 Harlequin Fantasy Bra. Designed exclusively for Victoria's Secret by Italian jeweler Damiani and manufactured in Valenza, Italy, the Very Sexy Convertible bra is selling for US$3 million. It is hand set with more than 2,350 brilliant-cut white, champagne and cognac colored diamonds and crafted with an 18-karat gold harlequin-patterned net. Accentuating the bra is a 16-carat heart-shaped champagne diamond pendant. The bra, whose diamond weight totals 150 carats, can be worn five ways, including strapless, halter, crossback, one-strap or classic. It took more than 800 hours for a team of 15 artisans to craft this creation, reports National Jeweler. Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller will show off the bra in the company's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on December 1st. Read the full article at Tay |
