Published : 27/04/09 A designer of items such as gold diamond rings and diamond necklaces has launched a new collection. Monty Abramov, son of the late Raphael Abramov, has produced a range of sparkling Lamont Jewelry pieces, including a 10-carat pear-shaped diamond ring. He said: "Our industry has experienced some very difficult challenges in this economy, but demand for bridal jewellery in both engagement, anniversary and diamond upgrades remains steady and even strong in some markets." Mr Abramov added that he learnt a lot from his father, who was a renowned member of the jewellery sector. Polished gemstones and platinum and gold creations ranging from one to 20 carats are included in the collection. The pieces will be photographed and documented in a book by Lamont Jewelry which will be released next year, the firm revealed. Earlier this month, Shaun Leane launched his latest collection of diamond jewellery with a ceremony in London.
