Veronica Riley endured mental and physical anguish after being diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2007, reports John Simpson of the Southern Star. The 24-year-old was later given the all-clear by doctors and received more exciting news when her boyfriend proposed to her. Despite this, her bad luck struck again when she returned to employment and suffered a dislocated finger while having a massage at her workplace, the source adds. While treating the injury Ms Riley saw her engagement band cut from her finger due to swelling, lovers of gold diamond rings may be concerned to hear. However, she is now happy once again, after winning a replacement ring in a competition, which has now been fitted.
