Published : 15/01/09 An event which will explain the predicted trends in the jewellery sector is set to take place this month. California will host the A Photo Of Gemstones Of The World seminar, which will be held in conjunction with the Women's Jewelry Association (WJA) of San Diego and the Gemological Institute of America. Robert Weldon, an expert in the field of photographing precious gems which are used in items such as gold diamond rings and diamond necklaces, has been confirmed as a speaker for the talk. Alexandra Hart, president of WJA San Diego, commented on the reasons behind Mr Weldon being chosen for the role. She said: "His many years of reporting have given him a special insight into the gem and jewellery industry and what makes it run - and he makes it all very entertaining." Recently, the American Gem Society announced its annual conclave will take place in April.
