Published : 23/12/08 Museum workers have made one visitor's Christmas by finding a vital part of her jewel-encrusted ring. Catherine Hart lost the diamond from her band while at a recent sleepover event at a New York historical centre which took place on December 13th and 14th. Employees at the museum searched high and low and eventually found the gemstone in a vacuum cleaner bag, it may interest owners of gold diamond rings to hear. Ms Hart told the New York Daily News of her delight at the item's recovery, stating it has "a lot of sentimental value". She said: "I was in every corner of the museum, so it could have been anywhere. It's a miracle. I can't tell you how appreciative I am over what they did." In other news regarding lost jewels, unclaimed gold diamond rings are among the products which were set to go up for auction earlier this week as part of a sale of unclaimed safety deposit box items.
