A major jewellery organisation is set to celebrate a landmark date this weekend.
The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) will move into its 70th anniversary on November 23rd, it may interest owners of gold diamond rings to learn.
Members of the industry from around the world are set to travel to Tel-Aviv to visit the special events planned.
Among those set to make an appearance are Diamond Trading Corporation's managing director Varda Shine and World Diamond Council chairman Eli Izhakoff.
IDE president Avi Paz commented Ms Shine is a leading figure within the sector, which deals with items such as platinum diamond rings and diamond bracelets.
He added: "In the current economic climate, it is even more important to review and extol our accomplishments over the past 70 years."
Mr Paz went on to say he is "very pleased" to be joined by those at the cutting edge of the industry for the anniversary celebrations.
The IDE is one of the country's largest industries and one of the world's largest diamond centres.
