Pop star wears diamond ring

Pop star Gabriela Irimia has sparked rumours she is set to marry after being seen wearing a diamond ring.

In news which may interest owners of gold and platinum diamond rings, the Cheeky Girls singer was spotted wearing the band on her wedding ring finger while on a night out in London, reports the Daily Mail.

Ms Irimia, who split up with Liberal Democrats politician Lembit Opik earlier this year, has been dating Manchester businessman Nicholas Zapolski for two months, the newspaper adds.

Recently, the Romanian star's mother claimed the singer had rushed into engagement with 43-year-old Mr Opik, the publication states.

The pair, along with Ms Irimia's twin sister and her partner, were photographed leaving the Embassy Club in Mayfair during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Last week, stars such as Heather Locklear, Scarlett Johansson and Cameron Diaz were all seen in gold or platinum diamond rings, according to reports.
