Published : 16/10/08 A plumber was called in after a woman flushed her diamond ring down the toilet, according to a source. Janelle Vann contacted an expert after waking to find the $32,000 (£18,500) engagement band she had left by the sink was missing, reports myfoxtampabay.com. Ms Vann called in a plumber to help find the item, it may interest owners of platinum diamond rings to learn. The ring was found with a fibre-optic camera and after "hours of work and using trucks of equipment" the item was rescued, the news provider adds. Ms Vann admits how pleased she was to have the ring back. She comments to the news source: "Oh, I was just joyful. I was just so grateful. I was just amazed." In other reports on missing gold diamond rings, earlier this month an engagement band was lost when it was dropped down a sewer after a couple left an ice cream parlour, stated 680 News.
