Registration for a major diamond conference is now available, according to a report.
The Diamonds: A Symbol of Value event will take place in Antwerp on November 17th and 18th, with those wishing to attend now able to state their interest online.
Sir Richard Branson, Bernard Fornas, president and chief executive of Cartier and Saatchi and Saatchi's deputy chairman of advertising Richard Hytner are among those confirmed to speak.
Freddy Hanard, Antwerp World Diamond Centre chief executive, states there are numerous factors which contribute to the value of a diamond, such as the mining procedure and customer demand.
He adds: "And then there are the underlying sets of values, all of which have to be defended if the perceived value is to achieve its maximum potential."
The event is the fifth Annual Diamond Conference and will focus on the value diamonds.
Last week, it was claimed by Robert Gannicott, chief executive officer of the Harry Winston Diamond Corporation, the demand for diamonds remains high, Bloomberg reported.
