Bianca Jagger has lost a platinum diamond ring, it has been reported this week.
In news which may interest owners of gold and platinum diamond rings, the former wife of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger lost the diamond encrusted item while in Austria earlier this week.
Ms Jagger is believed to have lost the ring, worth around £200,000, between leaving her hotel and getting into a taxi.
Karl-Heinz Wochermayr, of the Salzburg police, told the Salzburger Nachrichten newspaper: "Ms Jagger expressly said she had lost the ring and that this wasn't a theft."
The human rights worker was visiting the city for a music festival.
Meanwhile, in other news involving platinum and gold diamond rings, it was recently reported a Sheffield women found her engagement ring last month, three years after it had been stolen by a magpie.
Julia Boaler lost the gold diamond ring after leaving it by an open window, but three years later her fiancée found the item in a bird's nest.
