Lil Jon's diamond pendant under the hammer at hip hop auction
An upcoming auction of iconic jewellery from the world of hip hop is set to include Lil Jon's Crunk Ain't Dead gold and diamond pendant, it has emerged.
Fashion Week Daily reports that the pendant - which, according to Diamond Intelligence Briefs, set a Guinness World Record for being the largest item of its kind - is to go under the hammer at an October 1st auction hosted by Phillips de Pury & Co.
Entitled Hip Hop's Crown Jewels, the sale is to offer some 50 pieces owned by some of the genre's most famous faces.
A black and white diamond pendant owned by Biz Markie will be available to one lucky bidder, while a turntable gold diamond ring of Missy Elliot's is also on offer.
A princess and baguette cut platinum diamond bracelet from Sean "Diddy" Combs, Pharrell Williams's Gucci link pave diamond necklace and Slick Rick's multicolour diamond-set eye patch are also to be auctioned.
