Gossip Girl dons diamond drop earrings for Rockefeller party

Diamond drop earrings were the accessory of choice for Leighton Meester at a recent party hosted by Piaget at the Rockefeller Centre in New York.

Jewellery Insider observes that the Gossip Girl star paired her diamond drop earrings with a series of sparkling bracelets - but she was far from the only star who turned up in diamonds.

American Beauty star Mena Suvari wore white gold and diamond hoop earrings, while Emmy Rossum of The Phantom of the Opera sported a white gold and diamond necklace, as well as a rose-inspired diamond ring and matching earrings, notes Fox Business.

"Guests included some of New York's most influential designers along with social luminaries, cultural tastemakers, notable media and other high profile influencers," the news provider stated.

According to AME Info, the upcoming Dubai Jewellery Week 2008 is set to exhibit a strong presence of luxury watches, as a growing number of consumers look for timepieces that are well-crafted and of good quality.
