Two couples who have spent 60 years together have celebrated their respective diamond wedding anniversaries with diamond jewellery.
Frank Sinton popped the question to Irene Evans in 1947, not knowing that his identical twin Roy had done the same for his girlfriend Joyce Toft on the same day.
Now, the 83-year-olds are both celebrating 60 years with their wives.
"Sometimes it's just a chocolate bar. But this year I bought a special present," Roy commented about the gift.
"We have had a wonderful time together over the years. We like the same things and go walking about six miles a week," said Frank.
Delicate diamond bracelets should be chosen for those with slender wrists, while chunkier designs can be carried off by those with larger wrists, experts recommend.
Diamond necklaces come in a vast array of designs. Heart-shapes are popular, while settings are usually prongs, channels or bezels.
