Bachelor's choice plans to keep platinum diamond ring

A platinum diamond ring given to Shayne Dahl Lamas by her former fiance, The Bachelor star Matt Grant, is reportedly going nowhere.

The couple have broken up after becoming engaged on the reality TV show, but Lamas has no intention of giving up her platinum diamond ring.

Instead, she plans to keep the 2.85 carat accessory for posterity, according to reports.

"I have it and I am going to keep it forever for the rest of my life. It's safe and clean and in a glass box like a glass slipper," she told People magazine of the ring.

Grant proposed to Lamas, the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas, on The Bachelor: London Calling, but the couple announced their split almost a month and a half later.

Meanwhile, the season finale of The Bachelorette recently saw star DeAnna Pappas presented with a platinum diamond ring by new fiance Jesse Csincsak, who won out in the show that pitted 25 men against each other for Pappas' affections.
