Platinum diamond rings for Black Eyed Peas wedding

Black Eyed Peas rapper Taboo wed Jaymie Dizon this weekend, with the bride and groom both wearing platinum diamond rings.

According to People magazine, the couple chose 'his and hers' platinum diamond rings for the ceremony, which took place in Pasadena on Saturday.

Guests included the groom's bandmates will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Fergie, who arrived with fiance Josh Duhamel, the rapper's publicist told the magazine.

The ceremony took place two days before the star, whose best man was his manager and childhood friend Polo Molina, celebrates his 33rd birthday.

Platinum diamond rings may be a celebrity trend at the moment, recently making an appearance on the season finale of reality TV show The Bachelorette.

Jesse Csincsak selected a 2.3 carat princess cut diamond ring as the most persuasive way of proposing to the bachelorette of the show's title, DeAnna Pappas.

Where Is The Love? by the Black Eyed Peas spent six weeks at number one in the UK in 2003.
