Pitt 'should buy Jolie a diamond necklace'

Brad Pitt has been advised to reward the hard work of new celebrity mum Angelina Jolie with a diamond necklace.


Style blog Jewellery Insider recommends that the famous father purchases a diamond necklace representing the journey the couple has made - since the birth of baby twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, they now have six children.


"A journey necklace has a series of diamonds, each one larger than the previous, representing growing love. After all, isn't that the very crux of a relationship? It evolves, it moves and in Brangelina's case it grows and grows," observes the blog.


The blog post also highlighted the significance that a gold diamond ring with two gemstones may hold for the couple, with the pair of stones representing the newborn twins.


Diamond stud earrings were named as another push present option by the Detroit News recently, in an article documenting the growing trend of fathers purchasing gifts for new mothers.
