Nicole Kidman's husband, country singer Keith Urban, is giving her a gold ring to celebrate the birth of their child, it has emerged.
Urban plans to give his actress partner the gift while she is in the delivery room, reports My Park Magazine.
The news follows an article in themorningcall.com on the growing popularity of push presents, which are given to prospective mothers and may take the form of a gold diamond ring, a brilliant cut diamond ring, a diamond bracelet or alternative design.
Kidman's push present is set to take the form of a $73,000 (£36,500) Cartier Trinity band, made from three different kinds of gold, a source told the publication.
According to the source: "It's three turned into one and that's how it will be with Keith, Nicole and the new baby."
The ring's white gold signifies fidelity, while yellow gold means friendship and rose gold represents love.
