Heroes star in platinum diamond ring

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere wore a platinum diamond ring to this year's ESPY Awards, it has been revealed.


The sports ceremony featured a number of high-profile celebrities decked out in the finest jewellery and couture, but Kinney & Kinsella claim that Panettiere, who plays Claire Bennet in the NBC show, stood out from the crowd.


According to the firm, Panettiere wore a 57-carat platinum diamond ring to the awards, held each year to recognise achievement in the sporting industry.


"Celebrities love to wear platinum jewellery because it lasts forever and makes their diamonds sparkle from afar," stated the news provider.


The actress was apparently not the only star attempting to sparkle their way into the limelight with diamonds at the ceremony.


According to RiseMag.com, Carmelo Antony, forward with the Denver Nuggets, was spotted wearing diamond earrings.


Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima also took part in the trend, pairing a little black dress with diamond drop earrings, reports Sawf News.
