Diamond ring advice for men

Romantic types planning a proposal have been offered some tips on selecting the ideal engagement ring.


According to a new blog post on Indiainteracts.com, men should take their partner to a jewellery store and browse the princess cut diamond rings, gold diamond rings and heart shape diamond rings that are available, making a note of the styles she likes.


Men were also advised to familiarise themselves with the jewellery their partner wears each day, in order to get an idea of her taste and fashion sense.


Clarity, colour, cut and carat are the four most important considerations when choosing between different styles of diamond ring and most jewellers can discuss the various options with customers, the post added.


It stated: "Casually browse over the selection of engagement rings and get her to randomly try on the ones you picked out for her and judge her reaction."


Office for National Statistics figures show that there were 275,140 weddings in the UK in 2006, suggesting that many people may be looking for advice on choosing the ideal ring.
