Desperate Housewife 'may be ready for a family'

Actress Eva Longoria Parker may be ready to start a family, according to a new report.


The Desperate Housewives star, who recently appeared in adverts for ice cream product Magnum, married basketball player Tony Parker last year.


Her engagement ring was a five carat emerald cut diamond ring, with her partner's message inscribed on the inner layer.


According to the Daily Mail, the stylish celebrity could be looking to make motherhood her next role.


She reportedly told People magazine after a press conference: "I can't wait!"


However, recent claims of a pregnancy were denied by her partner, who said he was "not thinking like that right now", according to the publication.


Following the couple's wedding in July of last year, the Daily Mail pictured Longoria Parker returning from her French wedding with her new husband.


The actress, who plays Gabrielle Solis in Desperate Housewives, paired her wedding band - a brilliant cut diamond ring - with a custom made tracksuit emblazoned with the name Mrs Parker.
